Our aim at Spindrift Tactical is to create a UK based long-range shooting brand, entirely owned and operated by Royal Marine Scout Snipers. We will only bring you products that we have personally tried and quality tested within our field of expertise.
We are of the opinion that it is very easy to get caught buying unnecessary and costly products that falsely promise vast improvements on the range - we believe that the basics used correctly will give you everything you need. As we grow as a company we will release more kit and equipment to ensure you hit hard at all ranges, from near to far, whilst looking the part in our apparel.
The brand name Spindrift Tactical is inspired by the long-range shooting phenomenon known as Gyroscopic Drift, also referred to as Spindrift. This is caused by the right-hand twist in the rifle's barrel, which causes the nose of the bullet to offset slightly to the right during flight, due to incoming air having a greater effect on the left side of the bullet. The effect is that even under zero wind conditions the bullet will impact to the right of the point of aim, although the amount of Spindrift corresponds to multiple factors.
